Mental health problems are common in the UK with as many as 1 in 4 people experiencing mental health problems at some time in their life. Staff are trained to recognise the signs and symptoms of mental health problems and understand the difficulties you might experience. Carers will show compassion and understanding of your needs and take time to listen to your concerns. If a carer is concerned about your mental wellbeing they will draw this to the manager’s attention who will where necessary liaise with other agencies and your family with your consent. If you demonstrate that you are a risk to yourself or others we will act swiftly to protect your health and wellbeing.
